Brent Pohlman Joins GROW Nebraska Foundation Board of Directors
Kearney, NE — September 8, 2025 – GROW Nebraska Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Brent Pohlman, CEO of Midwest Laboratories, to its Board of Directors.
Brent brings more than three decades of leadership and business experience to the Foundation. As a second-generation owner of Midwest Laboratories, Brent has guided the nationally recognized company into its 50th year in 2025. With over 300 employees, Midwest Laboratories provides analytical testing services in human health, animal health, and agriculture/environmental sectors. Under Brent’s leadership, the company has experienced six consecutive years of double-digit growth, a testament to his vision and the dedication of his staff.
In addition to his executive role, Brent has held positions at major corporations including Mutual of Omaha, HDR, and Arthur Andersen. He is also the author of Leaders Look Within (2023) and is currently writing a follow-up book set to be released in 2026.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brent is grounded in his faith and family life. He and his wife, Michele, have five children and six grandchildren. He encourages his employees to prioritize family, a value he lives daily. Outside of work, he enjoys his morning routines, workouts, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Brent has been a proud member of GROW Nebraska for more than 20 years and is excited to support the Foundation’s mission of promoting entrepreneurship and empowering small businesses across the state.
