If you stop by the GROW Nebraska Foundation you will see several new faces. There are two returning employees bringing their expertise back to help small business members and one brand-new team member who is eager to help all of our GROW members.
The first returning member is Erin, who has filled the Director of eCommerce role. Erin will spend her days helping members get their products onto BuyNebraska.com, eBay, Amazon, and other websites. She has recently facilitated a partnership with Walmart.com to get select members’ products onto their global-reaching website and is working toward a similar collaboration with Target.com.
Erin knows how to navigate eCommerce because she has done so with her own business, Fat Boy Hickman’s BBQ. Owned by herself and her husband, Erin has successfully gotten her products into thousands of grocery stores and independent retailers across the country, as well as on their online stores.
Cammie is the other returning team member to GROW Nebraska. She is the new Director of Services. In this role, she will focus on program development, making connections between members and industry professionals, and ensuring all members have the tools they need to grow their businesses. She is also available for personalized coaching for those who want it. Cammie’s main goal is to make GROW Nebraska the go-to resource for entrepreneurs across the state.
When Cammie isn’t helping businesses grow, she’s at home helping her family grow. With three young children and a loving husband, her life is full of family adventures. Sometimes it’s exploring new places, other times it’s a simple outing together. She also enjoys baking treats for family and friends. But, no matter what she’s doing, she’s making memories and enjoying time with those she cares about.
GROW Nebraska’s brand new member of the team is Madison. Madi is beginning her exciting career as the Customer Relations Coordinator, where she will be in charge of helping members navigate the confusing world of eCommerce and monitor their social media platforms. She is also the head of the shipping department and is doing a wonderful job of ensuring all of GROW’s customers receive their orders quickly.
Madi understands how important it is to have support when building a business centered around the creative arts because she, too, is an artist. Her goal is to start selling her pottery and art. She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and is going through the process of establishing her own small business.
