Grow with Google has Named GROW Nebraska as a High-Impact Partner
Grow with Google has named GROW Nebraska as a high-impact partner for bringing digital skills training to hundreds of business owners and employees in Nebraska communities and beyond.
“We are thrilled to be considered a high impact partner,” said Jessie Harris, director of marketing and business development at GROW Nebraska. “We truly believe in the promotion Google provides small businesses, and to see our efforts working is amazing!”
Grow with Google launched in 2017 and is an initiative through which Google partners with libraries, schools and other organizations to provide digital literacy workshops and one-on-one coaching.
GROW Nebraska has provided Google training both one-on-one, such as coaching members on setting up a Google My Business information; in group trainings through monthly online workshops; and through in-person presentations at MarkeTech.
Google has partnered with more than 7,000 organizations and has trained more than 4 million Americans.
Harris said GROW Nebraska has been a Grow with Google partner since 2018 and has trained more than 600 people and has hosted more than 20 workshops on everything from boosting holiday sales with Google to how to use Google’s digital tools for everyday tasks.
Harris said last year GROW earned silver status as a Google partner, and staff members are thrilled to reach their goal of becoming a gold status high-impact training partner in 2020.
All trainings are open to the public. Last year’s trainings included preparing for the holiday’s, maneuvering your business model during the pandemic, engaging shoppers, and so much more.
GROW Nebraska® Foundation is a statewide non-profit training and marketing organization. Serving over 400 Nebraska small businesses, the organization provides marketing opportunities, education, and training to launch and connect Nebraska businesses to the global marketplace. GROW Nebraska’s educational programs receive federal and state funding, along with generous support from foundations and individual donors.
