Entrepreneur Spotlight: Gwladys Nare of Edutain Home Childcare
Entrepreneurs play an important role in strengthening our communities, and Gwladys K. Nare, owner of Edutain Home Childcare, is a great example of the impact a small business can have. Gwladys was recently selected as one of six local entrepreneurs to participate in a City of Omaha event highlighting entrepreneurship and the resources available to help local business owners succeed.
The event, held as part of Mayor John Ewing Jr.’s Year of the Neighbor initiative, brought together entrepreneurs, community leaders, and Entrepreneur Service Organizations to highlight the people and resources contributing to Omaha’s growing entrepreneurial community. Gwladys represented the Grow Nebraska Women’s Business Center (WBC) and shared her experience as a business owner and the impact that support can have along an entrepreneur’s journey.
Gwladys has worked with GROW Nebraska WBC through training, educational resources, and one-on-one business counseling as she develops and grows Edutain Home Childcare. Through business counseling, entrepreneurs like Gwladys have an opportunity to work through questions, challenges, and decisions with someone who understands the realities of starting and growing a business.
Edutain Home Childcare also demonstrates the important role small businesses play in our communities. By providing childcare for families, Gwladys is not only building her own business—she is providing a valuable service that supports working families and contributes to the strength of Omaha’s neighborhoods.
We are proud to have supported Gwladys along her entrepreneurial journey and were excited to see her recognized alongside other Omaha business owners. Congratulations, Gwladys, on this well-deserved recognition!
