Yes, but all sampling must comply with Nebraska State Fair and health department requirements. GROW Nebraska will provide guidance on approved sampling procedures.
No problem. Your products will remain available for purchase throughout the entire fair, even if you are unable to personally attend. But, we do highly encourage members, if they can make it work, to set aside one day to sign up to demo/sample. It is proven to help increase your sales and help brand your business better.
Members are required to pick up their products and display on the evening of the last day of the State Fair, unless prior arrangements have been made. GROW Nebraska will communicate logistics on the time pickup is allowed to begin and how to best navigate picking up.
No, all transactions will go through GROW Nebraska’s point of sale system. GROW Nebraska will also take on all fees associated.
We encourage members to bring their own director chair to sit behind their demo table location. The tables are on risers and therefore your chair will need to be higher than a standard chair.
Logistics:
If your inventory sells faster than anticipated, GROW Nebraska may contact you to discuss restocking opportunities. While restocking is not required, additional inventory can help maximize your sales potential.
GROW Nebraska processes all sales during the fair. Final sales reports and payments are distributed after the fair concludes and all transactions have been reconciled. Members can expect their State Fair Checks to be received near the end of September.
Possibly. New products may be added with prior approval from GROW Nebraska. Space limitations, pricing, and inventory tracking requirements may impact what can be added.
Any coupons, discounts, bundles, or special promotions must be approved by GROW Nebraska prior to August 1 to ensure they can be properly managed through our point-of-sale system.
Our goal is to showcase every participating business in the best possible way. We do ask each member to initially set up their display on a set up day. However, product placement may change throughout the fair based on sales trends, customer traffic patterns, merchandising strategies, and security considerations.
GROW Nebraska monitors sales throughout the event. Businesses with products that are selling particularly well may be contacted regarding restocking opportunities.
Promote your participation on social media, encourage customers to visit the booth, provide sufficient inventory, and consider scheduling a demo or sampling day to connect directly with fairgoers.
