The goal of the presentation is to share valuable and useful information to help decision makers and influencers identify key factors involved in securing their business, by encouraging: shared awareness of the technological risks facing businesses today; and shared awareness of steps that can be taken to improve a company’s security posture.

Attendees will learn:

  • Understanding the cybersecurity risk environment.
  • Learning about the key protective measures to mitigate risk.
  • Developing basic knowledge of the cornerstones of cybersecurity.

About the trainer:
Todd Herges, Intellicom
After moving to Nebraska in 1999 from Illinois, where Herges grew up and attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and following a 20+ year career in banking which included experience in lending, retail banking and operations with First National Bank of Omaha, where he served on the holding company’s Strategic Technology Committee, Herges joined the Intellicom Computer Consulting team in 2011. With Intellicom, Herges has managed their client support group, and lead their client advocacy efforts.

Bill Encell graduated from UNL in 1962. He was with the SUN Newspapers of Omaha from 1963 to 1978. When Encell left the SUN, they were owned by Warren Buffett and he was the Assistant Publisher. Encell joined All Makes Office Equipment Co. in 1978, and retired in 2015. When Bill left All Makes he was the Executive Vice President and Quality Training Officer. Encell have been a volunteer Certified Mentor and Workshop Trainer with SCORE Greater Omaha Chapter #40 since 2015.
