GROW Nebraska®, a Foundation that helps over 400 Nebraska businesses, has hired five new staff members this summer. Mayra Flores, Retail and Business Development Coordinator, Madi Gleason, Retail and eCommerce, Erin Malzer, Director of eCommerce, Kalli Niemann, Marketing Intern, and Kelli Potratz, Digital Marketing Coordinator.
The squad possesses a diverse collection of skills. Mayra Flores has a degree in Business Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is also bilingual in Spanish and English. Mayra has a diverse background with internships in real estate, HR, tax preparation, legal, manufacturing, and business development.
Madi Gleason graduated from Fort Hays State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her studies allowed her to perfect her artistic skills in Fine Arts and gain professional competencies that she now uses in her new career in eCommerce.
Erin Malzer was on the GROW Nebraska team before Erin and her husband Kirk bought Fat Boy Hickman’s BBQ. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Communication from Nebraska Wesleyan University While Fat Boy Hickman’s BBQ continues to flourish, Erin will serve as Director of eCommerce at GROW Nebraska, assisting in the promotion and development of eCommerce to help Nebraska businesses succeed.
Kalli Niemann is a Junior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she studies Business Administration with a minor in Accounting with a Marketing emphasis. She chose to join the GROW Nebraska team this summer as the inaugural intern. She has gained extensive marketing and social media management experience.
Kelli Potratz graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2019 and has worked as a front-end designer and developer, freelance designer, artist, photographer, and content manager for both local and international organizations and groups.
We are excited to announce the addition of five outstanding and committed individuals to the GROW Nebraska team. Each new member offers valuable expertise, new ideas, and a shared dedication to boosting Nebraska’s entrepreneurs and small companies. Their unique skills and backgrounds will definitely help us support local businesses, foster innovation, and drive economic growth throughout the state.
